Team Hoyt

They have completed over 1,000 races including marathons, triathlons, and the Iron Man competition.

This is Team Hoyt.

Dick Hoyt is one of the greatest father I've ever come to know about. Even though he wasn't good at running marathons, but for his son, he goes all the way with it. For his son, he has run, biked and swim while pushing/pulling his son with him. What got him inspired to do this? When his son told him, "I don't feel handicapped when we're competing."

Rick Hoyt, a guy who lives his life truly to the fullest. Even though he has to talk through a microphone-computer thing and he can't walk, but his determination to do what everybody else thinks is impossible is what drives him on to live. Even though the doctor said he wouldn't survive pass 5 years old. He is now around 40 years old.

His motto, I CAN has inspired disabled and able people all around the world to break out from their comfort zone and just do it, because, they CAN.

He made the sky his limit when others were making their minds up about their limit.

If he CAN, you CAN

Bethany Hamilton

You might have heard about her story in the movie "Soul Surfer" starring AnnaSophia Robb.
She is the reason why I started this blog. She has changed the way I look at life.
She taught me to be strong and grateful.

Even after losing her left arm from the shark attack, she's still determined to do what she loves, which is surfing and to prove to other people that she is not ready to give up. She also wants to send a message to the world saying, "If I can do it, what more you?"
I have carried that question in my mind ever since and whenever I feel like saying "I can't", I hear Bethany asking me that question and changed my mind.

After watching her movie and reading all about her from her site, she has given me no excuse to say "I quit."
Bethany Hamilton is not only a great surfer, but she is also a wonderful human being.

That's why she's one of my glitters.

Let the Glitter fall!!

As planned, I will be opening this blog when my first "glitter" post comes out, and I'll try to do this thing regularly, but I'm not that good at keeping schedules, but I'll do my best!
Excited for this fun to begin!

CHEERS TO 2012!
